About the play:
Milutin, using simple and emotional sentences, depicts the horrific scenes of war. He analyzes the events through his personal perspective, highlighting not only the senselessness of the war, in which victory was achieved with great losses of the army and people, but also the naivety of people. They were led by the idea of creating a great state of Southern Slavs, leaving their loved ones, fighting and dying for "lofty" goals that they aren't able to explain even to themselves.
