Opening of the exhibition: Beautiful Handicrafts from the Tohoku Region, Japan

On January 21, the Museum of Applied Arts will host the opening of the traveling exhibition 'Prelepe rukotvorine Tohoku regije, Japan'.🎨🇯🇵

The traveling exhibition of handcrafted items from the Tohoku region in Japan was organized on the occasion of the anniversary of the great earthquake and tsunami in 2011. The exhibition will introduce viewers to the rich cultural heritage of the Tohoku region, with a special focus on arts and crafts. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the diverse world of Tohoku traditions, represented by handmade items from ceramics, textiles, metal, wood, bamboo, and other materials.

The opening will be conducted by the Japanese ambassador to Serbia, Akira Imamura.✨ 

The exhibition will run until February 8.🇯🇵
