Free rock and pop music concert

As part of the 'Belgrade Winter' festival, the city of Belgrade and the Belgrade Youth Center traditionally present a top-notch free concert program to all rock and pop music lovers on the venue in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art in New Belgrade on December 30th. From 6 PM until after midnight, some of the most famous bands from the country and the region will perform, to the delight of all lovers of quality rock and pop sound! At the beginning of the concert, two popular 'tribute to' bands will perform, covering heavy metal classics: Metal Lica - Metallica, and Rainmaker - Iron Maiden. Following in the program, good vibrations of the ska-punk sound will be brought by the band Independent Referees, audience favorites for over 25 years. Then, Tanja Jovićević takes the stage, who with her accompanying band will play big hits from the group October 1864, in an irresistible, danceable soul-funk rhythm. The performance will continue with the band Ničim izazvan, one of the most popular new pop attractions, whose positive, romantic love songs have captured the hearts of the audience over the past years. A real treat will be the exclusive guest appearance of Prljavo Kazalište, the legendary new wave band from Zagreb, led by original members Davorin Bogović and Tihomir Fileš. The famous 'Prljavci' will perform a program composed of their greatest hits, beloved by the audience for more than four decades: 'We Dance', 'Black and White World', 'Everything is Easy when You're Young', 'A Young Man in his Prime', and many others. Their unending popularity is evidenced by the fact that their recent concert, held to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Belgrade Youth Center, was sold out months in advance! The ever-popular and live exceptional band Kerber from Niš will offer the audience the best of domestic hard rock sound, bringing the atmosphere to a boiling point with their rhythm that crushes everything in its path! It can rightly be said that the favorite guys from the South set our standard on how a traditional rock band should look and sound, thus recruiting new fans in every generation, whom we expect in great numbers this time as well. The grand finale of this year's program begins when YU Group comes on stage, living classics and one of our most famous rock groups of all time. This eternal band performs exclusively free for the wide public on this occasion, which is another reason for celebration! The powerful wall of electric guitars will lead the gathered audience on an exciting journey through the past and present - with unforgettable songs that have marked generations, reminding us of the most glorious moments in rock and roll history in these regions! There is no better way to enter the year 2025! Each of the mentioned performers guarantees a good holiday party with their long-standing career and extensive repertoire, composed of hits known to all generations.
