NO EASY WAY OUT - Kristina Cvetuljski

Kristina Cvetuljski kroz seriju radova predstavlja prizore iz svakodnevnog života, sagledane kroz ličnu percepciju i uokvirene nizom sopstvenih iskustava. Linearno koncipiran proces redefiniše naše poimanje stvarnosti – kroz (naizgled) poznate situacije i predele, autorka podstiče posmatrača da promisli o sopstvenoj recepciji sveta i da se priseti distinkcije između različitih tumačenja realnosti, koja ne mora uvek da označava isti skup vrednosti kod svakog pojedinca.

Tumačeći naziv izložbe „No easy way out” u njegovom suštinskom značenju, shvatamo da naizgled bezbrižne kompozicije upućuju na intelektualno čitanje slike – na njima su prisutni skriveni narativi koji uvode posmatrača u polje iracionalnog, odnosno podsvesnog čina. Introspektivni efekat koji projekat izaziva ukazuje na elemente nevidljive pri površnom posmatranju, a koji postaju svojevrsno ogledalo svakog pojedinačnog posetioca. Na taj način, svaki momenat „zamrznut u prostoru i vremenu” postaje znak određene reakcije – zbir različitih iskustava skrivenih u podsvesti.

Ritam koji umetnica gradi, a koji čine kolaži i slike, upućuje na neosporan cirkularni proces koji simulira kretanje kroz sopstvenu mapu sećanja i iskustava. Naš odnos prema uočenom nikada ne može biti identičan – on zavisi od intuitivnog koncepta koji se, kroz promenu prostora i vremena, prelama u našoj spoznaji sveta. Tako shvatamo da vizuelni sadržaj, osim svoje apriorne likovnosti i poetike, koje u prvom trenutku opažamo, istovremeno postaje podloga za iščitavanje naše unutrašnje strukture – one skrivene u polju podsvesnog.

Through a series of works, Kristina Cvetuljski presents scenes from everyday life, seen through personal perception and framed by a series of her own experiences. A linearly conceived process redefines our perception of reality - through (seemingly) familiar situations and landscapes, the author encourages the viewer to think about their own reception of the world and to remember the distinction between different interpretations of reality, which does not always mean the same set of values ​​for each individual.

Interpreting the title of the exhibition "No easy way out" in its essential meaning, we understand that the seemingly carefree compositions point to an intellectual reading of the picture - they contain hidden narratives that introduce the viewer to the field of irrational, i.e. subconscious, act. The introspective effect caused by the project points to elements invisible to the superficial observation, which become a kind of mirror of each individual visitor. In this way, every moment "frozen in space and time" becomes a sign of a certain reaction - a sum of different experiences hidden in the subconscious.

The rhythm that the artist builds, which consists of collages and paintings, refers to an undeniable circular process that simulates movement through one's own map of memories and experiences. Our relationship to the observed can never be identical - it depends on an intuitive concept that, through the change of space and time, is refracted in our understanding of the world. Thus, we understand that the visual content, apart from its a priori artistic and poetic, which we perceive at the first moment, simultaneously becomes a basis for reading our internal structure - the one hidden in the field of the subconscious.
