Legendary Morrissey will perform in Belgrade again! After more than ten years, the famous British musician is coming to Kalemegdan on July 8th. This concert is part of his European tour consisting of a total of 22 performances held in late spring and summer. As one of the most influential figures on the British pop scene, Morrissey (65) is known for his exceptional lyric-writing ability. He began his career as the singer of the legendary group The Smiths, with whom he recorded four albums from 1982 to 1987 that marked music history. After that, he embarked on a successful solo career with 13 albums, and for his contribution to music, he received the prestigious "Ivor Novello" award. He is also known for his animal rights activism, which earned him the "Social Vanguard" award. From the first single "Hand In Glove" with The Smiths to solo hits like "This Charming Man," "How Soon Is Now?," and "Irish Blood, English Heart," Morrissey's hits have become anthems for many generations. His "Autobiography," published in 2013, was extremely popular, spending six weeks at the top of the sales list in England. Tickets for Morrissey's concert will be available at prices of 4,900 dinars for parterre, 6,900 dinars for the Fan pit, and 12,000 dinars for the VIP section.
