GAZORPAZORP: Celebration with “Down the River” at Karmakoma on May 10

The Belgrade band Gazorpazorp began their regional tour in mid-April with the aim of promoting their debut album “Down the River.” They will hold a domestic concert on Saturday, May 10, at the Karmakoma club. Special guests that evening will be the Slovenian band Lelee, whose energy brings liveliness and playfulness. The club opens its doors at 8 PM.

Tickets are available for purchase at Tickets sales points and online. The advance price is 1,200 RSD, while on the day of the concert, they will cost 1,500 RSD. The album “Down the River,” created in 2024 at the Down There studio, was shaped by producer Uroš Milkić, mixed by Andrej Mladenović, and mastered by James Plotkin. The cover design is signed by Andrej Julher. This record will also be available on vinyl during the spring.

The members of Gazorpazorp emphasize that their eight songs represent a personal story of liberation, family, loss, and constant struggle. Their music is rich in emotions, guitar riffs, polyphonic singing, strong rhythm, and melody. The choral singing of the audience has become an indispensable part of their tour, bringing a new dimension to the songs.

During their eight years of existence, Gazorpazorp has released two EPs and performed on Hali Gali compilations, as well as at numerous concerts across the region. Since 2020, the trio Lelee has been making waves on the Balkan music scene. Their distinctive sound combines the Yugoslav new wave heritage, 90s indie rock, and Adriatic energy. After the successful debut album “Čuka bije pumpa” and the new release “Mora malo u crveno,” Lelee continues to win over audiences with strong original songs that energize the body and mind.
