King of Čačak

The King of Čačka invites you to join the promotion of his latest album “Good Morning People!”. This event is an opportunity to experience the sounds that have been seven years in the making since we first heard “Shine the Light on the Road” and nine years after the debut “Land of Dreams”. The third studio album of the King of Čačka is not ordinary – it's a double CD with 25 songs, which instead of plainness offers a plethora of emotions, life stories, important moments, thoughts, and dreams. This album has enough revolution to stimulate anyone's thoughts.

Croatia Records has enriched the scene with this work of Nenad Marić, better known as the King of Čačka. His collaboration with his brother Marko Marić, a longtime producer and partner in musical adventures, brings us a work created during the pandemic and protest years, as well as those everyday, life moments. At the promotion, attendees will have the chance to hear both new and previously performed pieces.

The King of Čačka emphasizes that in creating the album, some songs waited for their moment to be recorded, and two were even created for the play “Michael Kohlhaas”. The album offers a wide spectrum of genres, including blues, jazz, country, cabaret, and rock and roll. Thematically, the songs cover engaged, intimate, confessional moments, as well as songs about love.
