OH SERBI'A NOWHERE TO BE FOUND Shade Jevremović
The late seventies and eighties of the last century were marked by the emergence of significant works of Yugoslav dramaturgy. This era remembers the works of Dušan Jovanović, Slobodan Šnajder, and Goran Stefanovski, but also the first and most significant works of four forgotten female authors: Vesna Janković, Milica Novković, Deana Leskovar, and Zorica Jevremović, whose works were once celebrated but are now forgotten for some reason.
Their performances, awarded and praised, were part of the repertoire of Mira Trailović. They were performed on prestigious stages such as Atelje 212 and the Yugoslav Drama Theatre and directed by renowned directors like Pleša and Draškić.
KPGT, in celebration of five decades of existence, brings these masterpieces of Yugoslav dramaturgy back to the stage. These extraordinary works are directed by Vanja Vodeničarević, Ognjen Petković, and Ljubiša Ristić, and the entire KPGT ensemble participates in them, highlighting the greatness and supremacy of the Yugoslav theater in that period.
