💡 How can a startup find an investor at InveStory Day?

On December 4th, InveStory Day will take place in Belgrade — this is an opportunity for your startup to make a name for itself and find an investor. 

We offer two options for a startup at InveStory Day. The first is to pitch your idea (hurry, applications are accepted until November 24th). The second is to attend the event to listen to speakers and network with potential investors during informal networking.

1. Pitching — direct contact with the investor

Pitching is the main tool for a startup to find an investor. It is a chance to tell investors about your project, demonstrate its value and prospects, and receive funding and valuable feedback.

Participants of InveStory Day can present their projects not only to Russian investors but also to international investors. 

To prepare for pitching:

🔹 Create a presentation focusing on the strengths of your product.
🔹 Highlight what value it brings to the market.
🔹 Convince them that your team is the one to bring this idea to life.

2. Networking — valuable connections in an informal setting

Networking is the second, no less powerful, tool for a startup. A successful startup is built not only on the idea but also on the people who help bring it to life. Networking opens doors to key players: investors, partners, and even potential clients. Sometimes, a single acquaintance can be a turning point for a startup — helping to find funding or leading to profitable cooperation.

Starting a conversation with a new person can sometimes be challenging. That is why at InveStory Day we organize interactive networking. It will help participants establish contact in an informal setting.
