Concert of Yuri Gurevich: 'Art is Eternal'

On February 3 at 19:00 at the Russian House there will be a concert "...Ars longa..." - "Art is Eternal" by Yuri Gurevich, an honored artist of the Russian Federation, a laureate of international competitions and festivals, rector and professor of Nizhny Novgorod Conservatory. 

The concert program will include works by Mikhail Glinka, Mikhail Bronner, Efrem Podgaits, Gennady Banshchikov, and Leonid Desyatnikov.  Five compositions reveal to us different faces of eternity, woven from sounds performed by the accordion and singing Thai bowls, which precede the emergence of each piece with a peculiar rhythmic epigraph.
