Director Pavel Safonov and theater and film actor Evgeny Stychkin have united their efforts for the third time to create the monodrama 'The Meek One.' According to Safonov, he aimed to create a ritualistic action, a process of cleansing for the character, the actor, and the audience. The play is a confession, offered as a sacrifice to save another person. The cold, ascetic space becomes an expression of the main character's physical and spiritual wounds, his pain from loss, despair, and striving for harmony. 'The Meek One' is a song about bitter and enigmatic love or a prayer. The performance reminds us that life is sudden and can abruptly end, so it is necessary to take advantage of every moment to express feelings and love without fear and doubts. The duration of the performance is 1 hour and 20 minutes without an intermission.
