Second Concertos

An extraordinary event will occur in the classical music scene — for the first time within a single concert, three greatest masterpieces of Russian classical music will be united. The famous second piano concertos of three outstanding composers will be performed: Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, and Shostakovich. These works will be arranged in a unique musical sequence symbolizing the main stages of the life cycle: childhood, maturation, and maturity. This program will be presented for the first time as a single concept, as these works have never been performed sequentially before. Each of these concertos is known as one of the most difficult in the history of piano music. The performers of this unique experience will be Marina Khudykh, a graduate of the Rachmaninoff Conservatory in Paris, known as a director of concert programs and a laureate of international competitions, as well as a TEDx speaker. She will be accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra 'Opera'. In addition, Aizek, a renowned multimedia artist, will create visual accompaniment that merges technology and art through modern media. Viewers will have the opportunity to experience a rare artistic experience where the power of symphonic sound, virtuosity of performance, and visual images merge into a unique, deeply emotional experience. This program requires performers not only to have maturity and a fine artistic sense but also incredible endurance and virtuosity.
