The concept of personal boundaries introduces us to self-care. Because personal boundaries are not just about what is mine and what is someone else's, or just doing what I want and not doing what I don't want to do. Personal boundaries are about the boundaries of the personality that we care for: our goals, dreams, emotions, interests, and future. In class, we draw our boundaries and ways to care for ourselves with the children. This focus on one's 'self' can become a powerful motivational factor.
In the training, we: designate the difference in communication with acquaintances and strangers, close ones and children's friends; formulate the concept of personal boundaries: 'my body', 'my emotions', 'my knowledge and interests', 'my goals and dreams'; talk about the rules for protecting one's body, personal space, interests, and desires.
Conducted by: Demidova Olga - children's safety trainer, teacher-psychologist, candidate of psychological sciences.
