After more than four years of artistic exploration, the new play "They Are No More" delves into the themes of responsibility, forgetfulness, and solidarity through an innovative theatrical form. The project is the work of director Andrej Nosov, inspired by the drama of Doruntina Basha.
The cast is led by Mirjana Karanović, Svetozar Cvetković, and Alban Ukaj, with roles also shared by Maja Salkić, Davor Sabo, Kemal Rizvanović, Mateo Mavrak, Hana Zrno, Sanin Milavić, Faruk Hajdarević, Alen Konjicija, Natalia Dmitrieva, and Dina Hamidović.
The play is a result of collaboration between Hartefakt (Serbia), the Sarajevo War Theater SARTR (BiH), and My Balkans (USA, Serbia), with support from the La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club (USA), Ibsen Scope (Norway), and the Allianz Foundation (Germany).
- The play is subtitled in English.
- Currently, it is not adapted for hearing-impaired individuals due to its rich sound content, but efforts are being made to make it more accessible in the future.
