Visiting the Lepenski Vir museum, Golubac fortress, hiking, and Tumane monastery.
🏺 We'll start the day with a visit to the archaeological complex "Lepenski Vir" - a Mesolithic hunters' site dating back to the 6th millennium BC! It is the oldest human settlement in the Balkans.
🏰 We'll visit the famous Golubac castle
🏞 After the castle and coffee, we'll go hiking in the hills of Djerdap National Park, see the fortress from above, walk 12 km through beautiful forests and fields with alien-looking wind turbines 😀 The elevation gain will be small, with forest roads and trails that are not technically challenging.
🥪 We'll take a break with tea in a beautiful place
⛪️ We'll end the hike at Tumane monastery
🍮 Before heading back - of course, dinner in a cozy Serbian village restaurant
🚌 Transport from Belgrade and back by minibus
The price includes organization, snacks for the road, tea during the break, a guide, and transfer.
Separate charges: entrance fees to museums, cafes.
