What is Butoh?
It’s a Japanese avant-garde dance that explores imagination, presence, and transformation through the body. Movements can be slow or wild, strange or playful — it’s not about steps, but about discovering new ways to move and express yourself.
About the classes:
✨ We use visualisations to train focus and connect body & mind.
✨ A great tool for artists and creatives to break patterns and find fresh ideas.
✨ Physical exercises that prepare the body for any type of dance or movement.
✨ Presence practice — useful both on stage and in daily life.
The atmosphere is open and supportive. No experience is needed — beginners, dancers, performers, or just the curious are all welcomed.
